Modernisation with extension of use according to successful neighbourhood plan procedure.
Blaser Architekten AG have brought about an expansion of use for the entire property of the owners Assetimmo and Basler Versicherungen AG with a district planning process from 2007-2010. This involves a total of four additional penthouse apartments and the expansion of the commercial space of the Credit Suisse branch of the bank on the ground floor of the Basler Versicherungen AG building. The realisation of the construction projects of Assetimmo and Basler Versicherungen AG and the renovation measures necessary due to the age of the building were realised and coordinated by Blaser Architekten AG from planning to execution. The modernisation of the apartments was carried out while they were still inhabited.
The façade was given a completely new look with its continuous, curtain-type parapet elements made of perforated, gold-coloured aluminium sheet. In connection with the roof extension on Spitzgartenweg - two apartments and an apartment extension with generous roof terraces were created - a lift was installed in the apartment complex.
