Construction of a forest hut in Niederhelfenschwil as part of the programme 'SF Schweiz aktuell'.
In July 2011 Woodman Hitsch Rohner, ecologist Deborah Marcandella, adventurer Liza Andrea Kuster, carpenter Michael Koller and our architect Christian W. Blaser built within only three weeks in the forest of Niederhelfenschwil (canton St Gall) a challenging forest cabin. Connected to the United Nations International Year of Forests, the Swiss TV prgramme 'SF Schweiz aktuell' filmed and broadcast the entire construction period. Central themes were not only sustainability and energy efficiency, but also living in and with the forest. The cabin designed and built by Christian W., Blaser stands at the start- and endpoint of a new educational forest trail.
