Expansion of the Basel Technology Park in the Stücki Park.
Since summer 2011, the Technology Park Basel, operated by the Office for Economics and Labour AWA, has been offering a mix of offices, laboratories and communal areas at attractive rental conditions in the Stücki Park. It is specially designed for young companies. Infrastructure, premises and services can be shared by the start-ups. In addition to the single and double offices located on the north-west facade and the bio-laboratories on the south-east facade, a large seminar room, meeting rooms and a cafeteria with a generous communication zone were created. The internal connecting staircase has a space-creating function in addition to the simple height overcoming and stands as a design counterpart to the cafeteria.
Due to the great demand, the area was increased from originally 1,900 m2 in 2014 to 3,400 m2. In addition to additional laboratory and office space, tenants now also have a representative reception area and an auditorium at their disposal.
