New construction of a high-quality residential development consisting of four buildings in the villa quarter of Binningen.
In a long-established residential area of Binningen we were asked to develop a hight quality residential apartment complex. Blaser Architekten was invited along with two other architectural firms to participate in a study, which was now continued in a second phase.
The plot with more than 3'000 m2 floor area falls steeply to the north and offers a wonderful view of Basel and to the Rhine Valley. The supporting concept of the development is based on four volumes with a total of 24 apartments in the upscale segment. The buildings are situated in the slope and twisted to each other to create a central courtyard in the development and to offer each a good view to the city.
A representative appearance, exciting visual connections and different tailored exterior spaces would shape the generous apartments and create a great settlement.
