Renovation and refurbishment of an apartment building in inhabited condition.
The apartment building at Hardstrasse 71 is part of an ensemble from the 30's which is located in the protected zone. With its bay windows, it has a differentiated sculptural design and shows the typical features of the architecture around 1930.
The eight 2-room apartments in the building were renovated while still inhabited. This was primarily a string renovation with renewal of the kitchens and bathrooms. In the course of the renovation, the windows on the north-east side of the building were also replaced with more filigree wooden windows. The interior surfaces were refreshed and the electrical installations renewed.
