Renovation of the building shell of an apartment building with enlargement of the balcony areas.
The aging apartment building on C.F. Meyer-Strasse in Basel has 6 residential units and 6 parking spaces. In connection with the upcoming window and balcony renovations of the property built in 1956, Blaser Architects evaluated a comprehensive shell renovation. In the course of this evaluation, it became apparent that the balconies could be greatly enlarged to face the attractive garden, so that they now serve the residents as spacious terraces.
