Renovation of a spacious detached house on the Bruderholz in Basel.
The spacious detached house on the Bruderholz dating from the 1960's was extensively renovated by Blaser architects. The existing floor plan was not changed except for the connection of the kitchen to the living area and an intervention to enlarge the bathroom on the upper floor. On the upper floor, the shed shape of the roof is now partially visible in the rooms.
The whole building has a high-quality finish, which can also be seen on various built-in furniture. The outdoor area, which is already well connected to the living space in the existing building, was supplemented by a pool.
