SFH Binningen

Two-stage renovation and upgrading of a detached house from the 70s.

Already in 2008, the single-family house in Binningen, built in the 1970s, underwent structural interventions, which mainly related to the areas of living and exterior design.

In 2015, the client decided to carry out a further conversion, which primarily concerned the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the design of the façade. In the course of the bathroom renovation on the upper floor, the layout of the master bedroom was also adapted and a spacious dressing room was installed. The installation of new, almost frameless windows in the cooking and dining area created a link to the garden seating area and the extensive garden. The façade, which originally appeared inconsistent due to its different materials, was unified and thus modernised with simple measures.
