Development of a project for the 'Ressort Andermatt Swiss Alps.
In Autumn 2010 Blaser Architekten had the opportunity to participate in the challenging project 'Resort Andermatt Swiss Alps' in the canton Uri. Blaser Architekten could develop the grand 'Haus am Marktplatz' or 'Casa Mercatore'. This 'House at the Marketplace' contains 20 holiday apartments and retail areas on the ground floor level. It was important to create within a rigid master-plan an attractive and striking image of alpine residential architecture. It was equally important to respond well to the precise expectations of the client in an artificially generated environment.
