Installation of open space offices for a clinical research organization in the premises of the old stock exchange in Basel.
Blaser Architects were the executing architects for the conversion and tenant development of the old stock exchange in Basel. A clinical research organization working closely with the University of Basel and the University Hospital Basel has now moved into the new premises on the 1st and 2nd floors with MIAC AG (Medical Image Analysis Center). The basic extension planned by Blaser Architekten provided for spatial adjustments to the existing structure. In favor of coherent office space, the toilet facility on the 1st floor and in the gallery above it was moved to the access area. Existing offices were combined into open space offices and supplemented with focus rooms and a cafeteria. Within the existing glass tower, the offices of the CEO and his assistants as well as a personal meeting room were realized through a podium extension and the installation of an all-glass wall.
