Helvetia headquarters office buildings, Basel | 1994 - 2005

The three office and administration buildings of the Helvetia Insurance Company were originally built between 1957 to 1977. Because of inefficient use and new technological requirements, new offices needed to be planned.

Using the basic concept of transparency within a company and between its customers, a new office layout and design concept was created. Fixed office cubicles were transformed to flexible team offices, solid walls replaced by glass ones, and corridors transformed into communal use areas. Because of the brightness and transparency, a modern office workplace and quality of life was created.
