Constructions for Basler Kantonalbank, Basel | 2000 - 2007

In 2000, Blaser Architekten was engaged for the redesign and renovation of several branches of the Basler Kantonalbank. The Güterstrasse branch required accommodating four teller stations as well as additional meeting rooms in a 100 m2 space. A main design feature was to visually open the cramped existing space with a continuous ceiling running from the entrance vestibule through the interior.

This branch work led to additional renovation projects including the Private Banking branch in the Brunngässlein, the teller-area renovation of the Spiegelgasse main branch, and the teller-area renovation of the Aeschenvorstadt 41 branch.
