'Travel Mart, Basel | 2005

The travel shop was developed through a corporate architecture competition. At the shop a wide window gives insight into the inside. The leaflet shelves in the centre of the interior stands alone in the room. The 'island' is determined by the floor and ceiling which leads the customer through the room in a circle parcour. Large formatted wall pictures put the customers in a travel mood. For booking, the customer chooses between complete services, self-service or on the spot by internet. Supplementarily to the holiday offers, there is a reading corner with travel literature. Advice furniture, leaflet shelves and wall pictures are coordinated with each other materially, in color and thematically and form an idyllic atmosphere. The shop is designed bright, generous and open.
